Welcome! Thank you for choosing My Paediatric Sleep Specialist in your journey to better sleep for the family. By booking or using my services, you agree to the following:
All services are advisory and do not replace medical advice.
Booking & Payment

Invoice should be paid prior to the assessment and consultation date and acknowledge if this has not been received within 24 hours of booking the date will be released and it will be necessary to rebook a new consultation date. Payment is 100% of the full fee within 24 hours of booking confirmation

Cooling-Off Period
Under UK law, you have 14 days to cancel.
However, if you request services to begin within this period, you acknowledge that:

Work may start immediately

Should a Post-Consultation review date and time be arranged 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule this. In the event of an appointment being missed this will still be taken as one of the support calls as it is possible another client was turned down because of this booking being arranged.
No Guarantee of Results

Every child is unique, and progress depends entirely on developmental readiness, consistency, and the active commitment of all caregivers.

While My Paediatric Sleep Specialist provides evidence-based strategies, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or a fixed timeline for sleep improvement.

No refunds or partial refunds will be issued based on the outcome of the sleep package or if the client chooses not to implement the provided plan.
Service Pauses (Illness Policy)

If your child becomes ill or suffers a medical emergency during our support period, support may be paused for up to 14 consecutive days.

Re-starting the support period after an illness pause is at the sole discretion of the consultant and is subject to availability.
Cancellations & Refunds

Less than 24 hours’ notice- no refund

48 hours’ notice- 50% refund

Refunds are not typically offered once a personalised plan has been created
Medical Disclaimer
1. Educational and Coaching Services Only
The services, sleep plans, advice, and information provided by My Paediatric Sleep Specialist are for educational, informational, and coaching purposes only. They are designed to support parents in developing healthy sleep habits for their children.
2. No Medical Advice Provided
My Paediatric Sleep Specialist is a Certified Sleep Consultant and is no longer registered as a paediatric nurse by the Nursing & Midwifery Council so cannot give medical advice for you to follow but would instead pass on recommendation to seek further advice from a registered health professional- GP, Health visitor or other medical professionals. The information provided during consultations, in written plans, or via electronic communication is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. Medical Clearance Requirement
Parents are advised to seek the advice of a qualified GP, paediatrician, or other healthcare provider regarding any health concerns, underlying medical conditions, or symptoms their child may be experiencing. If your child has a medical condition (including but not limited to severe reflux, food allergies, sleep apnoea, or anatomical breathing issues), you must obtain medical clearance from your doctor before implementing any sleep training techniques
4. Parent Responsibility & Assumption of Risk
The implementation of any advice or sleep plan provided is entirely at the discretion and risk of the parent or legal guardian. Taking responsibility to follow safe sleeping practices in line with SIDS Guidance. (for more detailed information refer to The Lullaby Trust) If I choose to ignore this guidance I accept full responsibility for this
My Paediatric Sleep Specialist is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising directly or indirectly from the use, application, or interpretation of the provided advice or materials.
5. Emergency Situations
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read in your sleep plan or discussed during a consultation. If you believe your child is experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services (e.g., 999 or 111 in the UK) or your doctor immediately.
Safeguarding Commitment
The safety and wellbeing of your child is My Paediatric Sleep Specialist priority.

Confidentiality may be overridden where a child is at risk.
Parent/ Guardian Commitment to Safety
It is your duty to disclose any changes in parental mental or physical health whilst Jemma Jackson works with you. This is to maintain the safety of your child/ren and family. Jemma has the right to suspend or terminate any further support at her discretion, and will review restarting a programme once you are well enough (within 2 months). No refunds will be given.
Communication
Support is provided throughout your allocated timeframe [Email/WhatsApp/Call] Mon- Fri, or as per package times.
Response time for enquires: [24–48 hours, Mon–Fri]
My Paediatric Sleep Specialist will endeavour to respond as early as possible, however during holiday times, weekends and evenings there may be a delay in response.
Support Package Length
The start time of your package length will be from the Main Consultation-after I have received your intake form and sleep diary, so I can tailor your bespoke sleep plan. Our consultation to talk you through your plan is the start date.
Intellectual Property
All materials are for personal use only and may not be shared or reproduced. This could pose a risk to others if used, as all plans are tailor-made to your child, from the information you have shared.
Privacy
Your data is handled in line with my Privacy Policy.
Liability
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service, as permitted by UK law.
Governing Law
England and Wales.
